MOPS is an organic compound with molecular formula of C7H15NO4S and molecular weight of 209.26. MOPS is an important biological buffer, which is often used to prepare RNA electrophoresis buffer. It can not only be used as a buffer system of cell culture medium, but also a common electrophoresis buffer and protein purification chromatography buffer. In addition, MOPS can also be used in the paint field. The CN114031718A patent introduces a solvent based dispersion resin for high solid content coatings and its preparation method. The solvent based dispersion resin consists of solvent, acrylate monomer mixture, ethylene monomer, initiator and dispersant. The dispersant comprises active polyhydroxy monomer, active polycarboxylic acid monomer, active sulfonic acid monomer, glycidyl ester compound, catalyst and reflux solvent.
In a preferred embodiment of the patent, the active sulfonic acid monomers include any one or more of BES, ACES, 3-(cyclohexylamine)-1-propanesulfonic acid, 3-(cyclohexylamino)- 2-hydroxypropanesulfonic acid, DIPSO, HEPES, N-2-cyclohexylaminoethanesulfonic acid, N- (hydroxymethyl) methyl-2-aminoethanesulfonic acid, piperazin-N, N-di (2-hydroxypropanesulfonic acid), MOPS, TAPS, TAPSO, 3-(N-morpholine)-2-hydroxypropanesulfonic acid, piperazin-1,4-di (2-ethanesulfonic acid), N- (2-acetamide) -2-aminoethanesulfonic acid.
The solvent dispersion resin for high solid content coating provided by this patent has small particle size, good stability and low viscosity. This resin can replace the traditional SCA anti sagging resin in the high solid content coating, reduce the viscosity of the coating, and increase the solid content of the coating under the same construction viscosity. At the same time, the coating has good construction anti sagging property, which can reduce the VOC emission of the coating.
