The application of BICINE |CAS:150-25-4|in the field of wooden pens
BICINE is an organic compound with molecular formula of C6H13NO4 and molecular weight of 163.1717. BICINE is a buffer widely used in biochemical and medical research, such as enzyme reaction buffer, electrophoresis buffer, etc. In addition, BICINE can also be used as impregnating agent for wood. CN1251845C patent has developed a wax lotion used to treat wood for pens. This week, YACOO editor briefly introduced the specific formula of wax lotion
Wax lotion is composed of 18-28% mineral wax, 5-7% stabilizer, 5-7% assistant, 4-7% emulsifier, 1-2% preservative and 49-66% water.
Mineral wax is 52~60 semi refined paraffin wax, lignite wax or their mixture;
The stabilizer is preferably oleic acid or stearic acid;
The auxiliary agent is preferably one or more of hydroxyethyl ethylenediamine triacetic acid, BICINE and oxalic acid;
The emulsifier is selected from two or more mixtures of non-ionic surfactant sorbitol monooleate, polyoxyethylene (20) sorbitol monostearate, polyoxyethylene (20) sorbitol tristearate, and fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether;
The preservative is borax, sodium benzoate or their mixture;
Weigh mineral wax, stabilizer, auxiliary agent, emulsifier and preservative according to the formula and add them into the reactor, slowly heat them to 105~115 ℃, mix and react for 5~15 minutes, then add 80~95 ℃ hot water under high-speed mixing to mix, disperse and emulsify them, keep them constant for 15~25 minutes, and then go through homogenizer treatment to obtain wax lotion.
The wax lotion particles of this patent are extremely fine and uniform, and have good stability. Waxes, additives, stabilizers and emulsifiers used can well penetrate into the gaps of wood tissue, making the pencil board compact, easy to cut, and the cutting surface smooth and neat.
