Product Introduction
Guanidine carbonate is an extremely versatile organic synthetic raw material and analytical reagent, mainly used as a pH regulator, antioxidant, resin stabilizer, and soap for amino resins. It is also used as an additive for cement slurries and surfactants. It can also be used as a moisture resistant and synergistic agent for detergents, cosmetic raw materials, etc.
Application of Guanidine carbonate
Lithium ion batteries are currently the most widely used portable batteries due to their high specific energy density, high voltage, and long lifespan. Lithium ion batteries are mainly composed of electrolyte, separator, and positive and negative electrode materials. Compared with current commercial carbon negative electrode materials, silicon negative electrode materials have higher specific capacity and energy density, and are therefore considered as potential negative electrode materials for the next generation of lithium-ion batteries. However, in practical use, the cycling stability of silicon negative electrode materials is not high, their volume is prone to expansion, and their battery life is short. Therefore, the CN110534699B patent provides a lithium-ion battery negative electrode plate to solve the problem of volume expansion of silicon negative electrode materials. The silicon negative plate comprises 73 parts by weight of silicon dioxide Aerogel, 73 parts by weight of Graphene, 2 parts by weight of binder, 0.8 parts by weight of conductive agent, 0.5 parts by weight of dispersant, 0.6 parts by weight of thickener and 147 parts by weight of water;
Among them, Graphene is nitrogen doped Graphene, and the specific preparation method is as follows:
(1) Graphene is ultrasonically dispersed in deionized water to obtain a uniform dispersion;
(2) Add a nitrogen doping agent to the dispersion obtained in step (1) and mix evenly to obtain a mixture;
(3) Place the mixture obtained in step (2) in a Autoclave with polytetrafluoroethylene lining, react for 2h at 90℃, then heat it to 220℃, react for 10h, and finally obtain nitrogen doped Graphene;
In step (2), the nitrogen dopant is a mixture of Triethanolamine and guanidine carbonate(CAS:593-85-1), and the mass ratio of Triethanolamine and guanidine carbonate is 1:1;
This patent technology has prepared the negative of lithium ion battery by using nitrogen doped Graphene and modified polyimide resin. Nitrogen doped Graphene and modified polyimide resin have a synergistic effect, which can effectively inhibit the volume expansion of the negative material and stabilize the cycle during the insertion and removal of lithium, thus improving the comprehensive performance of lithium ion battery. In addition, Triethanolamine interacts with guanidine carbonate to produce more defect sites on the surface of Graphene, thus generating more uniform curls and folds on the surface of Graphene, which makes the introduced nitrogen have better bonding strength on the anode material and can promote the insertion and separation of lithium ions during the charge discharge process.
