The Important Role of Dichloro-[2,2]-paracyclophane in Medical Sensors

2020-05-28 来源:亚科官网

Dichloro-[2,2]-paracyclophane combines good electrical and physical properties, has low permeability to moisture and other corrosive gases, and is a protective polymer material with high commercial value. This article will introduce the application of Dichloro-[2,2]-paracyclophane in medical sensors.

A sensor prepared by Dichloro-[2,2]-paracyclophane for highly sensitive measurement of activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT).

LianQun Zhou 's research group from Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences developed a new P-Lamb wave sensor using Dichloro-[2,2]-paracyclophane waveguide layer [1]. Parylene-C improves the smoothness of the sensor surface, effectively reduces the energy loss of the P-Lamb wave sensor, and makes it have higher stability and sensitivity.

In addition, Dichloro-[2,2]-paracyclophane is also used in the preparation of QCM (quartz crystal microbalance) sensors [2]. Its good electrical insulation and hydrophobicity can improve the stability of QCM sensors. Dichloro-[2,2]-paracyclophane is conducive to improving the quality of sensors and multiplexing times, and can effectively reduce the cost of experiments.

The P-Lamb wave sensor and QCM sensor based on Dichloro-[2,2]-paracyclophane can measure aPTT with high sensitivity, providing a fast, efficient and stable solution for the measurement of coagulation indexes.

Zhaoxin Geng et al.[3]used the physical adsorption capacity and biocompatibility of Dichloro-[2,2]-paracyclophane as a flexible substrate material to prepare a terahertz metamaterial sensor device, which has the advantages of low dielectric constant and high sensitivity. Flexible terahertz sensors further expand the practical application of terahertz metamaterial sensors.

Dichloro-[2,2]-paracyclophane has been proven to meet the bio-test requirements of UDP Category VI plastics, and has passed the US FDA demonstration to meet the US Pharmacopoeia biomedical materials category VI standard. With the development of medicine and electronic technology, Dichloro-[2,2]-paracyclophane will Play a greater role in medical sensors and other medical fields.
