Application of MOPS |CAS:1132-61-2|in Digital Printing

2022-12-14 来源:亚科官网

MOPS is an organic compound with molecular formula of C7H15NO4S and molecular weight of 209.26. MOPS is an important biological buffer, which is often used to prepare RNA electrophoresis buffer. It can not only be used as a buffer system of cell culture medium, but also a common electrophoresis buffer and protein purification chromatography buffer. In addition, MOPS can also be used as a buffer in the field of digital ink-jet printing. CN110305532A patent introduces a high concentration acid ink for digital printing and its preparation method. The specific components of the acid ink are as follows:

1. Acid dye

2. The non-ionic dispersant is alkyl polyglycoside (APG);

3. The anionic polymer dispersant is alkyl glycoside sulfonate;

4. The surfactant is non-ionic surfactant;

5. The organic solvent is any of ethanol solvent, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol and PEG-5;

6. The preservative is 1,2-Benzoisothiazolin-3-one or potassium sorbate;

7. pH regulator is any of triethanolamine, MOPS, 4-morpholinepropanesulfonic acid and trimethylolaminomethane;

8. Deionized water

Weigh 20-50 parts of acid dye, 1-10 parts of non-ionic dispersant, 2-5 parts of anionic polymer dispersant, 0.2-2 parts of surfactant, 10-30 parts of organic solvent, 0.1-0.5 parts of preservative, 0.05-1 parts of pH regulator and 30-60 parts of deionized water according to the formula. Fully stir and mix evenly, grind and disperse by high-speed emulsion disperser, filter to obtain high concentration acid ink for digital printing.

The ink in this patent uses alkyl polyglycosides as a dispersion solubilizer, which can effectively improve the solubility and stability of acid dyes in the ink system, so that the ink has good universality, smooth performance and printability. At the same time, the use of non-ionic dispersants and non-ionic surfactants solves the technical problem that some dispersants and surfactants are unstable and can not achieve the ideal dispersion effect under acidic conditions, and also avoids the influence of dispersants and surfactants on acid dye reactivity to the greatest extent, so that they can have higher color fastness when used in the dyeing of silk, wool and other fabrics.
